This contract was for the civil engineering enabling works to facilitate the construction of a new indoor community sports facility. The existing pitch was widened on one side and the entire pitch re-sown. New spectator terracing was created with reinforced concrete retaining walls, car parks and circulatory roads, and associated drainage, boundary fencing, soft landscaping, and amenity lighting. A new entrance gate was constructed and road improvements with traffic calming measures were completed to Roads Service adoption standards.
