Bleach Green to Whitehead Track Relay

FP McCann in Joint Venture with Amec Spie Rail, relayed over 16km of railway line from Bleach Green Junction in Whiteabbey, to Whitehead Station. The civil engineering aspects of the works included the supply of over 120,000 tonnes of ballast stone, installing over 23km of drainage, renewing the signalling infrastructure, constructing extensions to station platforms, waterproofing bridge decks, constructing reinforced earth retaining walls, installing sheet piled retaining walls, creating new drainage outfalls, and the development of ballast retaining structures.
