Valve Chambers
FP McCann offer precast valve chambers as a means of accessing and protecting gate valves, butterfly valves and various other types of valves and fittings whilst allowing on site access. Precast valve chambers are designed to accommodate the water, sewerage, fire fighting and gas industries.
The DN1500 Precast valve chamber is manufactured as a monolithic unit with full concrete base and inlets generally in straight through or at 90 degree orientations to accommodate inlet pipes.
Using the tongue and groove profile of existing manhole chambers allows manhole risers to be placed on top of the valve chamber and the unit raised to the desired cover level. Ladder systems and steps are available allowing man entry.
