Quarring Products
Rock Pitchers
– used in applications where large voids need to be filled. Particularly applicable in natural settings for non-interruption of the landscape. Suitable in situations where foundations are not good. Advantages are that the rock pitchers are economical and lend themselves to rapid construction.
Rockfill
– used in applications such as road construction or land leveling yard leveling or in situations where larger voids need to be brought up to a greater height. Rock fill is graded with average stone size being 300mm.
150mm – 200mm Gabion Stone
– clean stone washed and used with gabion baskets to create retaining walls also used in river embankments.
100mm crusher run
– 100mm graded to dust; this product is used in the construction of roadways, laneways, car parks and other hard standings. Used for depths up to 150mm.
65mm crusher run
– 65mm graded to dust. Used predominantly in road and yard construction. Other uses are in car park construction, leveling sub floor foundations or grading course fill.
40mm crusher run
– 40mm graded to dust. Used to make up levels on existing ground or new fill e.g. sub floors in new build, car park surface areas, yards, lanes etc… (also known as Blinding)
20mm Blinding
– 20mm graded to dust. Used as final coating on yards, path ways, walk ways, and around houses or other surface areas. Final layer used and to maximum recommended depth of 50mm.
Quarry Dust
– 3mm down material used for bedding pipes and cables. Additional applications are on top of walk ways or pedestrian paths and used underneath Pavia or flagstones. Lay to a recommended maximum depth of 25mm.
100mm Drainage Stone
– single size stones used in the construction of access roads and hard standings where drainage is required.
65mm Drainage Stone
– single size clean stone used in land drainage and soak away.
40mm Drainage Stone
– single size clean stone used in land drainage and soak away.
28mm Aggregate
– single size clean stone used in drainage.
20mm Aggregate
– single size clean stone used in concrete as an aggregate or as a drainage stone.
14mm Aggregate
– single size clean stone used as concrete aggregate, as a drainage stone, or in yards, path ways, walk ways, lanes etc as a finish.
10mm Aggregate
– single size clean stone used as concrete aggregate, or as pipe bedding.
6mm Aggregate
– single size clean stone used as concrete aggregate or as pipe bedding.
Type 3
– 38mm graded to dust, used in highway construction.
Type
– 28mm graded to dust, used in hard standing and pavement construction.
Recycled Aggregate (Crushed & Uncrushed) - consists of 4 main types:

RA
– Recycled Aggregate comprising of crushed masonry (brickwork & block work)

RCA
– Recycled Aggregate principally comprising of crushed concrete.

RAP
- Recycled aggregate consisting of crushed or milled asphalt. This may include millings, planings, return load and plant waste.

Inert Waste
- provided no contaminants are contained within the waste (i.e. soils, stones, glass, ceramics, bricks, concrete, etc…)
