This scheme involved resurfacing work at Kirkistown Race Course, situated near the fishing village of Portavogie on the picturesque Ards Peninsula in Co.Down.

To complete the scheme, 180 tonne of 10mm Mc Cannphalt Thin Surfacing System product was specified, with two new Bitelli 650 spreaders involved in the laying process.  Two highly skilled surfacing teams worked in echelon with a “Hot Joint” provided to improve durability.  This scheme was completed on time and within budget, leaving Kirkistown Race Course in excellent condition for the upcoming racing season.
